Getting a good fit
Select a size that works best for the size of the paw. A dog sock should be snug without restricting a paw's ability to spread. If the sock is too baggy, it is more likely to twist and the grippers won't be effective.

Features

Wendells traction socks feature a wrap-around hook & loop strap, strechable cotton blend fabric, and a flat seam on the M/L and L/XL sizes.
The bottom of the sock features a broad pattern of silicone grippers to help with traction on slick surfaces.

How to put on and remove Wendells traction socks

Get a good fit around the paw

Wendells traction socks are designed to stretch widely, making it easier to place them on a dog's foot and remove them. To put on a Wendells traction sock, undo the strap and stretch the sock opening wide to get it around the paw. As you place it around the paw, ensure the nails do not get caught in the sock. The toes should not be cramped and the paw should be able to stretch out, but a baggy sock is not a good fit. To remove a Wendells traction sock, undo the strap completely, open the sock wide from the top of the sock and remove from the paw, making sure not to catch on the pad or nails.

Secure the strap

Step 1
The strap is sewn to the front of the sock to keep it in place. Open the strap completely and wrap it around the leg.
Step 2
Thread the strap through the strap loop and wrap it back around the leg. The wrapping of the strap helps keep the sock from twisting.
Step 3
Secure the strap at the hook & loop patch. The strap should be snug but not tight.
